Yes, you cay wear the scarf with a cami under, but the colors must coordinate (not match!) Remember that the scarf must be narrow, not filmy or poufy. Try blue for the cami (not low cut, high enough.) Then add another neutral, like gray, for the scarf. Remember, this is a conservative interview ensemble. Blue, or white, shirts are classic for this.

I like a darker color shoe for your suit (and the pants must cover most of the shoe) like black or charcoal patent.

Thanks for the advice. I really like the cami and scarf ideas. Could I do both at the same time? Should the scarf be a solid or print? What colors do you recommend for the cami/scarf?
What about tan/peanut shoes to break up the black, would work if there is no other tan in the outfit?
